President Dr. Danilo Türk visited the premises of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana where he met with the Dean and representatives of the Institute of Biochemistry, Medical Centre of Molecular Biology, Center for Functional Genomics Biochips and DiaGenomi Ltd with whom he discussed the achievements of Slovenian researchers in the field of medicine and of genetics. Dr. Danilo Türk said that DiaGenomi Ltd is a good example of a company that integrates cutting-edge research with clinical practice and a demand for market research. He stressed that Slovenia needs as much of this development, since we will only succeed in this way to ensure proper place among the developed countries in the world today.
